About me
Hello there!
I’m Seán Leahy, an award-nominated Irish director and screenwriter developing drama-based projects whether short, feature or HETV.
Member of the Screen Directors Guild of Ireland, Writers Guild of Ireland, and the Irish Film and Television Academy. My films have screened at Fastnet, IndieCork (BAFTA & IFTA qualifying), and Catalyst International Film Festival (IFTA qualifying).
My work focuses on narrative storytelling, writing and directing films that are character-driven, visually grounded, and emotionally resonant. I’m currently developing new projects while continuing to support grassroots cinema in Cork as evident with my current position as Events Manager for The People’s Picturehouse Cork.
